We need idea to consolidate people – Gagik Ginosyan

One of the remarkable events of the passing year was reaching top of Ararat by Karin dance and singing ensemble headed by Gagik Ginosyan. Speaking at a news conference today Ginosyan said that the expedition was dedicated to the 100th centenary of the Armenian Genocide.

In 2016 Karin will celebrate its 15th anniversary and on December 25 the 10th jubelle of open dancing classes. “Every last Friday of the month we are giving open dancing lessons and this lasts for already ten years. The goal of this initiative is to consolidate peopleover Armenian musical culture,” he said.

Ginosyan also stressed that this year the ensemble restored few dances including musaler cycle which consists of three dances. Karin presented it at an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of heroic battle of Musa Ler.

Gagik Ginosyan also stressed the significance of an idea that will consolidate the people. “Every time we appear on different sides of barricades and fail to get an idea able to unite big masses,” he stressed, adding that it could be the realization of national identity.
