Passing year fruitful for Gyumri Atchemyan theatre

The passing year was quite fruitful for Gyumri Atchemyan theatre, people’s artist, director of the theatre Nikolay Tsaturyan told the reporters today. Currently he is consultant to the art director of the theatre. Tsaturyan left the post of the art director being convinced that young people should work in such posts. “The art director of the theatre is young specialist from Gyumri,” he said, adding that there are many talented young people ready to stage good performances but unfortunately their level is low.

Tsaturyan said in 2015 they celebrated the 150th anniversary of the theatre. Besides a new hall has opened in Gyumri for 70 spectators envisaged for chamber staging.
