Armenia has strong painting school- Hrant Tadevosyan

Armenia has quite a strong painting school which is widely known in the world. There was a time though when Europeans were coming here as if to a remote province where cannot be any art, later they admitted that theiropinion was wrong, people’s artist Hrant Tadevosyan told in press club


“There was a time when my paintings were rejected and I was not painting for 20 years from 1968-88. I started painting again in 1989,” the artist said, adding that the latest exhibition of his works took place in Los Angeles. He said he may open a big exhibition of his works in Armenia on the occasion of his 80th anniversary.
