Armenian young chess players become champions in Youth Chess Championship

Armenian young chess players Manuel Petrosyan and Mamikon Gabrielyan became champions of the Youth Chess Championship that ended in Prague.

Mamikon Gabrielyan became champion in the group under 12 years old gathering 8 points out of 9 while Manuel Petrosyan celebrated victory in the group under 18 years old. He gathered 7.5 points out of 9 possible.

Rudolf Pashikyan also performed successfully. He gathered 7 points and shared 2-7 places in the category under 8 years old. Aram Hakobyan gathered 7 points and took the 5th place in the category under 16 years.

Among the girls Mariam Mkrtchyan took the 4th place in the category under 12 years.
