Hackers change direction of Azerbaijani gas from Turkey to Russia

A group of hackers has broken the system of gas pipelines going from Azerbaijan to Turkey through Georgian territory and changed the route of the natural gas in the direction of Russia. It was stated by head of cyber security conception of Czech Republic Ales Stidla. It is not clear for how long the gas direction has been changed. Stilda said that after the incident has been revealed more than two weeks have been needed to “redirect” the gas to Turkey.
Czech specialist said there is a big cyber organization in Voronezh which has about 12,000 employees. In his words China is leading in carrying out cyber attacks. The country’s cyber army has more than 50 000 specialists. They can paralyze the activity of state institutions of many countries.
The Azerbaijani media reports the information without hiding its concern. Haqqin.az writes that the explosion of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyran oil pipe in 2008 on the eve of Russian-Georgian war was caused by hackers.
