Armenia's President has phone conversation with US Secretary of State

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan had a phone conversation with US Secretary of State John Kerry on the initiative of the US side. The parties discussed the situation created after intenisve cese-fire violation by the Azerbaijani side in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. 

President Sargsyan stressed that Baku's irresponsible steps greatly harmed the peace talks.

The US Secretary of State reaffirmed the US full assistance in the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict. The two parties stressed that there is no alternative to the peaceful settlement of the conflict and the necessity of finding mechanisms for final settlement of the conflict.
