Two candidacies for Defense Minister’s post
As we have already informed Armenia’s Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will submit resignation application during these days for taking new post – the post of the Secretary General of CSTO. As to the candidates for the post of the Defense Minister the name of Vladimir Gasparyan is being circulated. Reshuffling in force institutions due
According to Nyut.am sources, changes will be registered in the force institutions of Armenia. Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan will be appointed CSTO Secreary General. He will probably be replaced by incumbent Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan who is likely to be replaced by Armen Yeritsyan. The most interesting though is the appointment of Emergency Situations Minister. Candidcy of Nersik Nazaryan is being talked over. CSTO to have Armenian Secretary General
The CSTO session will take place in Yerevan on October 14. Russian, Kazakh, Belarus presidents will arrive in Armenia to participate in the gathering. During it Nikolay Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the organization will quit his post and an Armenian representative will take his post. Azerbaijan is worried with the circumstance as in case of military activities CSTO Armenian Secretary General may influence on member states to get support for Armenia.

At a cabinet meeting on Thursday, Armenia’s Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan announced his resignation.“Sincere and realistic approaches have produced results, but society remains polarized. US Ambassador to Armenia urgently transported to USA
US Ambassador to Armenia Richard Mills has been urgently transported from Yerevan to New York. According to the source from the embassy, the Ambassador was taken to Astghik medical center four days ago with heart failure. Afterwards it has been found out that he has serious health issues. Today doctors decided that it would have been purposeful to urgently transport the Ambassador to USA for continuation of the treatment there.   
Armen Gevorgyan to be appointed Prime Minister?
According to some sources former vice premier Armen Gevorgyan who is currently Secretary of National Security Council will be appointed Prime Minister. The appointed is due in 1-2 months. He will head the post until the parliamentary elections. Speaking in an interview to Mediamax, Gevorgyan said. "I have been thought to be a leader who is making changes in his surrounding".
